"Dave just replaced my furnace and air conditioner. I called him to give me a quote after seeing how most of his reviews mentioned his honesty. Well, let me add another one! Most of the other companies I got quotes from tried to sell me bigger units than I needed at of course higher prices. Dave did a calculation and determined a smaller size would work fine, and was the only one to point out that if my unit size were upgraded then my duct work would be too small and would need to be increased in order for me get benefit. No one else mentioned this. He also did not try to sell me an expensive “maintenance” plan on my brand new units that are under warranty anyway. He was patient and answered all my questions, educating me on how the units work in as much detail as I wished. He even pointed out little cosmetic things that would result from a change in size of the footprint of my old furnace vs the new one. He clearly has the knowledge borne of extensive experience. The installation was completed on time and everything is running great. I feel that I got a fair price and great service and would highly recommend RTB Mechanical."
